The big problem with this small urban garden was shortage of patio space. The garden sloped and our client had recently had a conservatory fitted and privacy was an issue with their neighbours. The brief was to create a garden of interest to accommodate our clients planting requirements and make it a bit of a WOW for visiting family and friends.
We doubled up by using some of the areas twice by creating a pebbled water feature with a deck patio cantilevered and extending over the gravel feature creating a lovely shady area for ferns and intrigue.
